Please be informed that as per instruction received from Embassy of Italy, BLS Visa Application centre accepts application only on the basis of Scheduled Online Appointment. ONLY.

Based on Directive 2004/38/EC and Legislative Decree 30/2007, exceptions are made for family members of EU/EEA citizens. Family members of citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, referred to in the above mentioned regulations, may visit BLS Visa Application Centres without appointment. In order to be granted access, it is mandatory to provide an identity document and, depending on the case, a marriage, family or birth certificate to prove the family relation.

This is to inform you that from 02^nd Oct 2023 BLS Italy Visa Application Centers will be operational from 08:00 AM to 20:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 10:00 AM to 14:00 PM (Saturday).

Dear Applicant,

We kindly ask you to take the visa processing time into consideration before applying for a visa. We do recommend lodging visa applications well in advance (at least 15 days before the departure date). Applications cannot be lodged earlier than six months before the start of the intended journey.

Once the visa processing procedures are completed by the Embassy, the passports will be delivered to Visa Application Center. Applicants can collect the passports at Visa Application Center.

If an applicant insists on collecting the passport during the examination period at the Embassy, the only option is to withdraw the visa application. In this case, the request, dated and signed by the applicant, must be submitted in writing to the Embassy through the Visa Application Center. The withdrawal of the application does not entitle the applicant to a refund of the consular and service fee.
